Back Squat (3-3-3-3-3)

@60% of 1 RM

For the back squat the athlete will warm up to 60% of 1 RM and then will perform 5 sets of 3 at that weight. The athlete will descend with the weight at a normal speed. Once the athlete hits the bottom of the squat they will rise as fast as they can while still maintaining control and mechanics. This is not Jumping back squat.
